Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in:
(a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
OR
(b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)
(c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent , subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
*Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium.
(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
Note:
The minimum age to take admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is 16 years.

After completion of degree in BSc agriculture,you can give competitive exams also.You can do jobs in government as well as private sector.
And yes BTech agriculture is also available.Agriculture engineering is the area of engineering concerned with design,construction and improvement of farming equipment and machinery.It is also 4 years duration course.Also it has best opportunities in government as well as private sector.
