Hello Animesh,

Eligibility criteria for college's assistant professor is as follows:

1) Masters degree in relevant discipline with first class.

2) Qualifying UGC SET/ NET Score.

3) Research paper publications in journals with good impact factor.

Also other factors such as,

1)Doctorate degree,

2)Book publications,

3)Projects and

4)Previous experience in good organizations

would increase your chances of selection.

In order to become an Assistant professor at university or college you need to complete your Post Graduation programme then you should have qualified NET exam in the particular subject in which you have done your Master's degree.
