As per the eligibility criteria you must have obtained a minimum of the 50th percentile which means 50% of the maximum marks obtained by all the candidates who have set for the examination of Neet for your particular year.

However if you apply the statistics for the SC reservation candidates when it is been seen that the cutoff vary between the XL to the 45th percentile at times which may be raised to the 52nd percentile wearing on the intensity of the questions of the particular year as well as performance of the fellow candidates and the benchmark set by them.

My advice would be try scoring between 370 and 380 to be on the safe side and get into a Government Medical College of the inferior ranks a score of 380 to 400 should get you through to the better colleges of the different states via all India quota.

However to avail the top medical colleges of your state and other states via the 85% state quota or 15% all India quota it would be best to get a score of above 400 to 4:20 even if you are applying SC reservations because a competition is very high.

Hello ajay,

the eligibility criteria for SC category is 40 to 45 percent but it varies every year to year and depends on the performances of the students in that perticular years exam.

best of luck
