EVS for Class 11th & 12th

1) EVS is compulsory subject in all streams of Junior Colleges

2) There is no theory examination for EVS

3) Evaluation is on the basis on Student Project

4) Students has freedom to chose EVS Project Title

5) 30 Marks is for Student Project and 20 Marks is for Seminar or Minimum 5 General activity in the textbooks

6) Evaluation through Internal and External evaluator for better implementation

7) Separate Text Book is available for Class 11th & 12th

Objective of EVS SUbject in class 11th & 12th

1) Student should be able to form Hypothesis

2) Student should be able do action project on local environmental issue

As i can see from the list of subjects from their portal, CBSE does'nt seem to be offering EVS as a subject of choice in class 11.



ISC offers EVS option in class 11. EVS is nothing but Environmental Science, which covers a bit of biology, information science and physics. It basically covers the study of environment and the different enviromental issues.
