The following visual standards must be met to be eligible for NDA exam:
| NDA – Vision Standard For ARMY | ||
| Distance Vision (Corrected) | Better Eye 6/6; Worse Eye 6/9 | |
| Colour vision | CP-III (Defective Safe). | |

Myopia should not be more than -2.5D
Hypermetropia should not be more than +3.5D |
