PSG Medical College, Coimbatore offers 150 seats of MBBS Course with the duration is 5 ½ years including of 1-year Compulsory Clinical Rotation. The last year internship program includes short rotation in various medical departments such as community health, surgery, medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, child health, orthopaedics, emergency medicine and various specialities.

Admission to PSG Medical College is done through Management/ NRI Quota as 35% of MBBS seats and remaining 65% of MBBS Seats allotted through Tamil Nadu State Medical Counselling as State Quota. Any unfilled NRI Quota seats are filled by PSG Medical college through stray counselling.

The tuition fees for Management Quota is Rs. 12, 50,000.

PSG Medical College offers admission based on both NEET score as well as through Management Quota as it is a Trust based Institute. For a government seat, the tution fees that it charges is only 4 lakhs whereas for a management quota seat, the tution fees that it charges is around 12.5 lakhs. Infact, for completing mbbs in PSG Medical College, the total cost a candidate has to bear is close to 20 lakhs including the hostel fees and other costs.
