what is five kingdom system of classification
Hi Dear,
The system of assembling organisms into groups or sets on the basis of likenesses and variances is called classification. The five kingdom classification was proposed by R.H. Whittaker in 1969. Following are five Kingdoms of Classification:
- Protista : the single-celled eukaryotes
- Fungi : fungus and related organisms
- Plantae : the plants
- Animalia : the animals
- Monera : the prokaryotes
Good Luck
