GATE exam is counducted for admission in PG courses all around the country. But students can get placed in PSUs like BPCL, ONGC through their GATE scores. These scores are valid for 3 years. Many NIT/IIIT or other college students give this exam to have a chance of studying in an IIT for MTech. The paper is 100 marks. It consists of general aptitude, mathematics and core subject questions.
