Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science.
Eligibility
GATE 2018, you must make sure that you meet all of the following required criteria given below.
Indian nationals along with international students from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be eligible to appear for GATE 2018.
The candidates should have completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Science in a relevant subject.
Final year students can also apply for GATE 2018.
There is no age limit for the entrance test.
There is also no specified minimum pass percentage (qualifying exam) to apply for GATE exam

GATE 2018
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) namely IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.
GATE is a national level PG engineering entrance examination, offers admissions to M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D at the IITs, NITs, GFTIs and other universities in India, Several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and research organizations also recruit on the basis of GATE scores In order to prepare for GATE exam you should follow below strategies 1- Know about the GATE examination 2- Know the Syllabus & Weightage of each subject 3- Select Good Books & Materials for GATE preparation 4- Plan your GATE preparation 5- Follow the plan to complete the syllabus 6- Revise the GATE preparation 7- Practice the Mock Tests 8- Revise and Practice in the last stage Good Luck!!
