Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) in Engineering is one of the most sought after exam for high pay jobs as well as for higher studies and research opportunities in engineering .GATE primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program of institutes as well as jobs at Public Sector Companies.

GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technologies  at Roorkee  , Delhi , Guwahati  , Kanpur  , Kharagpur , Chennai (Madras)and Mumbai (Bombay) on behalf of the National Coordination Board .

GATE Eligibility Criteria:

The following students are eligible to take the GATE exam –

• Students who have successfully completed their 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 and are currently studying in 3 ^rd year or higher years of any undergraduate degree program (10+2+3 (ongoing) programs).
• Students who has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts.
• Master’s degree students Final Year in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Computer Applications or equivalent.

There is no age limit for the eligible students to appear in the GATE exam.

• Analyse and practise previous year papers
• Point out the easy and difficult topics
• Make a study plan
• Read books from expert writers
• Solve mock test
• Practise time management
