CMC Vellore has a 100 seat intake. 74 seats are filled by the Sponsored Candidates of Associated churches. 10 seats are filled through by the wards of the staff of CMC One seat is sponsored by the Govt. of India and the rest 15 seats are filled through Open Merit. Among these 15, a total of 3 seats are allotted to SC/ST. Now all these seats are filled through Merit scored in NEET and the Counselling is held at State level. In 2019, a score of 685 was the top score. This is the top score but the cut off is the minimum score that is required for a seat. And cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So if you want a seat in CMC, you will need more than 550 irrespective of your Category. NEET exam cut off varies depending on category, college and course. You should aim achieving as high as possible. The cut off for MBBS Christian Medical College for general category students is 650+ score.
