Hi,
Hope you are doing well!
The structure of business reports includes a title page, executive summary, table of contents, an introduction, the body portion, the conclusion, recommendations, references, and appendices.
The title page helps the reader to understand what they would be reading in the report, who and when it was written.
Executive summary is the shortened structure which includes the topic, an overview of the data obtained, and any recommendations based on the study.
The table of contents includes the sections and any subheads and the page location of different topics.
The introduction will include the basic topics of the report and the overall purpose of the report.
Body is the portion in which the topics are written in a detailed manner including pictures, table, graph, charts.
The conclusion summarizes the body section of the report.
In the recommendation section if the findings of the report justify an argument, answer a question, or require action, the recommendation section is the place to disclose what to do next.
In the reference section the resources name are to be mentioned. This section tells the reader where they can find additional information if it is needed.
In the appendices section some additional documentation like financial data, a glossary, or interview transcripts.
Business reports are formal, clear and concise with the purpose of communicating necessary information as accurately.
Hope it helps.
All the best for your future.
