Hello Student ,

Geo Informatics Generally a subject that contains the concept of both Information Science and Engineering. Through this  course, one can learn and innovate about new space technologies , Geospatial Models etc.

Through Geoinformatics , you can learn the advance fields of Geography.


Now, the eligibility criteria for this course is :

  • UG : Must pass class 12 exam with Chemistry, biology and Physics as a mandatory subjects
  • PG: Must have done Graduation in this field with minimum 50% marks aggregate

Top Entrance exams :

GATE, JEE ADVANCED,

BITS HD etc.

Career option :

After pursuing this course , top recruiters like TCS, Infosys , reliance Jio etc. can hire you for the following job profiles :

Dear student,

Geo-informatics is a course which deals with courses like geography, geosciences and cartography which are part of science and engineering fields.

  • B.Sc Geo-informatics
  • B. Tech in Geoinformatics
  • M. Tech in Geoinformatics
  • M.Sc Geo-informatics, etc

Admission is based on merit obtained in qualifying exam or entrance exam.

**Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in science stream from a recognised Board or College for admission into UG Geo-informatics courses.

**For admission into Master's in Geo-informatics courses candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant field from a recognised College or University.

Hello there

Geoinformatics is the science which basically deals with the development and uses the information science infrastructure to address the problems of geosciences and geography related branches of Science and Engineering.

There are few colleges which offers bachelor's degree in geoinformatics but if the candidate wants then he or she can also join it in post graduate degree by completing their bachelors in any of these like geography ,geology, environmental science, chemistry, or Physics.

In geoinformatics you will mostly deal with the subjects like application of geoinformatics , environmental engineering, Introduction to GIS, geospatial  programming and Chemistry also.
