The placement statistics depend on a lot of things,how good your skill is, how good your college's placement unit is, are you above your CGPA requirement.
There have been neat placements this year.
Two students of BITS Pilani scored a crore package placement in UBER US.
A student from IIT Mumbai scored a 1.8 crore package in Apple.
