What is honours degree? After it what are other study options? What is the career in it? Please guide me.
BSc Hons is a 3 year undergraduate science degree which is aimed for students who want to go into research and teaching as well as in academics. If you are from Science background there would be various options like B.Sc in Mathematics, B.Sc in Physics, chemistry, Botany, Zoology etc. After completing the BSc Honours course, students have the opportunity to work for a number of entry level job positions in the field of science. If you pursue Bachelor of Science in chemistry you can also so go for or several pharmaceutical industries as well as in academics or research. Other than that honours in botany zoology can also join as lab technician, Lab supervisor etc. Bachelor of Science in chemistry or botany zoology can also have a scope to join as biochemist. Physics honours scope in aerospace engineering also. As well as all these branches can join in academics like as professor, faculty etc. After passing BSc students can also persue MSc and after that PhD can be done. Chemistry honours and botany or zoology honours students have a scope to join in research and development sector of any pharmaceutical industry.
