Hey,

IISC or Indian Institute of Science located in Banglore is one of the best institutes of our country and being able to study here is an achievement in itself. It's aura speaks of itself.

IISC offers four year Bachelor of Science research program along with  post graduation programs.

It must be noted that IISC does not conduct any specefic entrance exam and takes admission using merit list of national level entrance exams like KVPY,JEE(Mains and Advanced) and NEET.

You need to have scored minimum 60% in NEET if you belong to Unreserved Category.

If you belong to OBC-NCL,then you need to have minimum 54% and 30% if you are SC/ST/PWD.

It must be kept in mind that the candidates must have studied Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects in 10+2 along with other main or subsidiary subjects.

Once you fill the application form of IISC and your marks obtained in the respective entrance exam is known to the institution, you will be placed in order or merit. A cutoff percentage is determined for admission through each stream namely KVPY,JEE,NEET. Candidates whose marks are more than the declared cutoff of IISC would be offered admission to the four years Bachelor of Science program.

Now coming to the scope which IISC has to offer,I would like to mention here that the infrastructure and the faculty of IISC is just the best in our country. It will provide you with all the knowledge and resources to excel in your field and it depends on your hardwork how you are going to make use of them. If you want placement in companies then you would get plenty of options. It is entirely your choice whether you want to carry on with your studies or start working.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
