Joint Admission Test for M.sc. known as IIT JAM exam, is a national level entrance examination.
IIT JAM is conducted by IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and IISc (Indian Institute of Science).
IIT JAM offers candidates to get admission in IITs and IISc for the programmes like M.sc., Joint m.sc. – Ph.D., M.sc – Ph.D. Dual Degree, Integrated Ph.D. and for other post-bachelor programs.

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) is administering Joint admission test for M.Sc programme, commonly known as JAM for the year 2018. IIT Bombay has conducted JAM 2018 on February 11. The JAM has been held online for admission to various post graduate (PG) science programmes including integrated Ph.D, M.Sc, joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research), Ph.D dual degree and other post-bachelor degree programmes offered at IISc Bangalore and other Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), respectively.
JAM 2018 Eligibility Criteria– Common criterion across institutes for each programme
Candidates can find below JAM eligibility criteria which are common for each programmes across institutes for appearing in the postgraduate science admission test.

The candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate of subjects including languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Those however belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories need to secure at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects.

Candidates need to note that equivalence of marks in case of grades in letter/ CGPA (and not in percentage of marks) will be decided by the participating institutes of JAM.

As per the JAM eligibility criteria 2018, candidates will need to submit their proof of qualifying degree examinations by September 30, 2018 to the admitting institute. However, upon failing to do so will lead to cancellation of their candidature.
Hello buddy, IIT JAM is admission test for doing Master of Science in IITS/NITS/IISC. It's mostly for BSC students but yes Beech students can also apply for it. Best of luck for your future.

IIT JAM Exam is conducted in Seven Subjects. You can choose any one subject and prepare for this.
