The integrated M.Tech is a 5 year course. In an integrated course, you need to have the same field of education for both the courses combined.
It is different from dual degree where students can pursue Interdisciplinary courses. In case of dual degree, you will get degree for both.

Integrated M.Tech or Dual Degree innM.Tech means B.Tech + M.Tech will be offered for 5 years duration. If you study B.Tech and M.Tech individually it takes 4 years and 2 years respectively to complete course which adds up to total of 6 years for B.Tech and M.Tech if studied seperately.
