It is different from dual degree where students can pursue Interdisciplinary courses. In case of dual degree, you will get degree for both.

If you study B.Tech and M.Tech individually it takes 4 years and 2 years respectively to complete course which adds up to total of 6 years for B.Tech and M.Tech if studied seperately.
