Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana(KVPY) exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. The aim behind taking up of this exam is to discover student's with skill and aptitude, assist them in realising their academic potential, and encourage them to pursue research careers.
Students in classes 11th,12th, and UG Science(1st year) are eligible to give this test. They can apply for the KVPY fellowship test under SA, SX or SB Stream-. Each stream has its own set of qualifications.
The KVPY SA stream is open to those who are in 11th standard with science stream. The student must gave received a minimum of 75percent(65% for SC/ST/PWD) in math and science subjects in class 10 examinations, according to KVPY 2021 eligibility requirements.
Students who are enrolled in 12th grade with science topics are eligible for SX Stream. Besides, they must have obtained minimum 75percent(65% for SC/ST/PWD) in math and science subjects in 10th grade.
Students who are eligible to enrol in the first year of Basic Sciences ug programme for academic year 2021-22 can apply for KVPY SB Stream. They must have obtained a minimum of 60percent(50% for SC/ST/PWD) in maths and science subjects in their 12th grade examinations.
Before you begin studying, make sure you have a solid study strategy in place. Check the the syllabus from the prior session to develop a study plan, and then make notes about which portions require more time to prepare and which require lesser time. There are various online books accessible for KVPY that are organised by stream and may be used to prepare for the test. Practicing from NCERT books is always preferable. It is vital to look over the test pattern before beginning to prepare for exam. Ensure that you complete the syllabus strictly on time. Practicing mock tests are very effective.
