Language courses are short term or full time courses in which you can learn any foreign language like French, german, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, etc.

Student can opt for part time language courses like certificate, diploma courses in any language. Part time courses are beneficial for the students who wish to learn any foreign language with their full time course and language course is a add on benefit for them.

Students also prefer to opt for B.A (Hons) in any language, this course is done by students who wish to make a career in this stream only. After B.A, they can opt for Master's course and then they have good chances for opting teaching as a profession or they can find a job in industries.

Eligibility criteria can vary from college to college. General eligibility criteria is student must have passed class 12th from any recognised board. Some colleges/Universities also conduct entrance test for admission.

Many colleges/Universities offer language courses for students like Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia, JNU, etc.
