Hello,
No, LEET and JEE Mains/Advance are not same.
JEE Mains is an online entrance exams conducted across the country for admission into first year of engineering in colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and some private institutions. After you qualify JEE Mains you are eligible to appear for JEE Advance. If you qualify JEE Advance also then you will be eligible for admission into first year engineering courses of IIT .
LEET is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society State. It offers admission into Second year (Lateral Entry) of Engineering Courses . You can opt for LEET if you have completed or are in final year of 3 year diploma course.

Hello Somya,
LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) is an entrance test to take lateral entry in B.Tech/ B.E Program. After completing your three years diploma in engineering, you can appear for LEET exam to get admission directly in 2nd year of engineering degree.
If you compare it with JEE mains and advance then LEET is designed for diploma courses while JEE mains is designed for 12th pass students.
JEE mains is tough for diploma holders.
I would suggest you to go for LEET if you are pursuing diploma, otherwise go for JEE mains of you have not taken admission in polytechnic.
Hope it clears your doubt.
Thanks.
