Please read the following:

Nationality/ Nativity

  • Candidates must be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or must be Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders.

  • Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

  • Candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974.

Local areas:

  • Andhra University (A.U. area) includes Nagarjuna University area.

  • Sri   Venkateswara University (S.V.U. area)  includes Sri Krishnadevaraya University area.

  • Osmania  University (O.U. area) includes Kakatiya University area.

Non Local areas:

  • Candidates not meeting the above criteria will be considered as non-locals.

  • Candidate belonging to PIO / OCI category will be considered as under non local category only.

I am a student of AP, LOCAL STAUS AU, will I be treated local or non local for TS EAMCET 2018I have only studied in AP, and also born in AP

Yrs, you are eligible as a local candidate as AU area is part of local criteria

Dear sangeetha,

A student is granted local status as follows

1.Student must have passed the intermediate board exam from that state

2.The time from which you are living in that state matters and there is some fixed time ( to my knowledge 5 years )

Any student who is not able to fulfill the above conditions is considered as non local

my kid is born there..He didnot do any stidies over there , so will be considered as non local.

I have studied till 10 class (SSC) in Telangana state but my intermediate is done in Karnataka state and my adhaar card is from Telangana state , so what is my locality status in Telangana state
