If you want to be settled as a management professional with high paid salary you need to complete your masters in business administration.

To do that first of all you need to complete your 10th and 12th with minimum 50% marks.After that you need to complete any graduation degree with minimum 50% marks.But having done BBA will be an added advantage.

After completing the graduation he/she has to write the CAT exam and score good marks.If you score above 95 % you will get admission in IIM or a good B-school.

After completing your masters in IIM or a B school you will get a package of around 8-15 lakhs per annum.

A management professional is a person who has studied management during the graduation or post graduation level. There are different programs, degree and diploma courses, after studying which, a student can be called a management student. These degree/program/diploma include: BBA, MBA, PGDM, Hotel management, Event management, Master of Management, PGP, PGPX, EPGP, PGPPM etc.

After being awarded with a management degree/diploma, a management student is most likely to be recruited for a managerial role. The job of the management professional will vary according to the company and discipline.

For example, if a student is having marketing as its domain, then that student can be hired as a management trainee who can further become a marketing manager. Under this role, if the marketing student is hired by a FMCG or FMCD company, then he/she will have to sell the products or will be required to make relations with the suppliers/ wholesalers etc. But if the marketing student is hired for a digital marketing position by a company, then he/she will be required to promote the company on various social media platforms. A student having Marketing can become a management trainee, sales manager, marketing manager, market research analyst etc.

Similarly, if a student has taken Finance as its domain, then he/she can be hired as an investment manager, analyst, financial manager, credit analyst, accounting manager, treasurer etc.

A person with HR as the specialisation usually ends in the position of HR Generalist, apart from it, he/she can become a training manager, HR manager, consultant, recruiter etc.

Candidates choosing Operations can become logistics manager, supply chain manager or can be responsible for inventory management or production management.

In total there are 42 different MBA courses being offered by universities in India. These courses are categorised as 10 major disciplines , which include Banking, Infrastructure, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Human Resources etc.

The salary of an MBA student depends on the company in which he/she is hired. Generally, the salary is in lakhs.

The eligibility criteria for taking admission into a management course varies from college to college. However, most of the colleges accept the score obtained in management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT etc. The entrance exam performance is usually followed by other rounds such as group discussion, personal interview, case study etc. The colleges allocate seats on the basis of overall performance of the candidate in all rounds.

The cut off also varies from college to college. Each year, the college announces its cut off, that is, the minimum score which is acceptable by the college. Candidates qualifying the cut off are eligible to appear in further rounds, in order to secure a seat in the college.
