Hello,

There are different quotas through which you can get admission .

For particular college lets say Nit Goa,there are two quotas:

1)OS quota-open state quota which has fifty percent reservation.

2)GO quota-home state quota which has fifty percent reservation.

Best Wishes

Hello,

GO quota:   The full gor for GO is Goa. GO quota is a sub-quota of the HS(home state) quota. The 40% seats reserved for Goa candidates comes under GO quota (only for Goa candidates) while the 10% seats reserved for the candidates of the UTs of Daman & Diu, Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Lakshadweep comes under HS quota (priority is given to the candidates of above-mentioned regions but Goa candidate can also take these seats if left vacant).

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Hello Aspirant

Go is not the main quota it is sub quota .

GO quota: GO stands for Goa. GO quota can be understood as a sub-quota of the HS quota.

Hope you understand .

Thanks
