Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct
JEE Main 2018
on April 8 in offline mode while the computer based test (CBT) will be conducted on April 15 and 16, 2018. JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes while Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning programmes. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is also the qualifying test for JEE Advanced for admissions to 23 IITs. Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Class 12 board exam can apply for JEE Main 2018. The online registration was available from December 1, 2017 to January 1, 2018 and last date to pay the fee was January 2. The correction window was open from January 9 till 22 and the last date to pay any additional fee to change category or any other detail was January 23. JEE Main 2018 admit card will be available tentatively from the second week of March and the result will be declared on April 30. Firstly we talked about JEE main.
JEE main is For getting admission in NITS,State government college & private college as well.The exam consist of 90 question from physics, chemistry & maths 30 each & a total of 360 marks in which each correct answers get 4 marks & deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect.
Now talking about second stage I.e JEE Advance which is For getting admission in IITS.It include Two papers each of 3 hours with a gap of 2 hour between them.It doesn't have a fixed pattern.

JEE Main 2018 offline (pen-paper) exam will be held on April 8 while the online exam will be held on April 15 and 16. JEE Main 2018 registrations has commenceed from December 1 and has concluded on January 1, 2018.
This engineering entrance exam will have two papers. Candidates seeking admission in BE/BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs appeared for Paper-1 whereas Paper-2 IS given by aspirants for architecture and planning programmes.
This engineering entrance exam is of three hour duration which candidates gave in either of the two mediums, that is:

Pen-Paper Based Exam
A total of 90 questions is asked in this engineering entrance exam. These questions wereasked from different subjects. JEE Main 2018 syllabus listed the topics in which aptitude of candidates can be tested.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is conducted by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Only the top 2.4 lakh rank holders in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
