Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
University admissions are handled by the Registrar, who is responsible for processing applications for different postgraduate, undergraduate, and diploma programmes within the university. Generally, admissions for the different programmes are opened in the month of June/July of each academic year in compliance with the norms established by the University as per the laws of the Government of Telangana and updated from time to time. Candidates from families of agriculturists (farmers) who own not less than ONE acre of land, either in the name of their parents or in the name of the candidates, and who have studied for a minimum of four years in schools located in non-municipal areas are eligible for forty percent (40 percent) of the available seats in the University. If the property is held by a candidate's grandpa, grandmother, guardian, or any other relatives, the land is not suitable for inclusion in the quota. In order to be considered for inclusion in the quota, a candidate must submit ANNEXURE-I coupled with ANNEXURE-II. Annexure-I is a proforma that must be signed and sealed by the Head of School, certifying that the applicant has studied for a minimum of four years at schools located outside of the city limits throughout their time of study from first to twelfth grade / intermediate school (Non-Municipal Area Certificate). Annexure II: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the candidate / parents, which must be duly certified by the Tahsildar with his office seal (or) the candidate must upload attested photocopies of pattadar pass book as evidence of the extent of agricultural land owned by the candidate / parents).
