Group - A - Biotechnology, Biomedical, Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics), Civil , Mechanical with specialization in Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Information Technology,Electrical & Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering,Electronics and Computer Engineering,Fashion Technology.
Group - B - Mechanical Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering , Mechanical with specialization in Automotive Engineering,Computer Science and Engineering with Spec. in Information Security ,Electronics and Communication Engineering with Spec. in Internet of Things and Sensor ,Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Data Analytics, Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Networks and Security.
Further, the 5 categories are divided according to ranks. The higher the rank the higher the category you'll get. From category 1 to category 5, the fee structure increases at every category. Every year the rank distribution in these categories changes because it depends upon the number of candidates appearing and difficulty of the exam.
