Dear Aspirant,
In any competitive exams there is a threshold minimum marks required to clear the exam. This minimum marks criteria is called cutoff. Similarly for colleges, the minimum marks/rank requirement for the admission is called cutoff of that college.
The cutoff varies with reservation category like cast, gender, state, etc.
JEE MAIN:
The cutoff for General category was 81, 49 for OBC-NCL, 32 for SC, 27 for ST, and 1 for PWD in the previous year
EAMCET:
The qualifying percentage of marks for AP EAMCET is 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking.
