what is meant by cutoff marks for the admission in du university
Hello aspirant,
A cut off mark is the least of aggregate of all the marks considered for the admission for the specific institution for specific course.
One can calculate only the aggregate and not "CUT OFF". Cut off is a post admission process any institution would get to know
For e.g. 100 is the maximum aggregate a student can gain in a qualifying exam.
and the institution could accomodate only 50 candidates.
Thankyou
Hi Vishnu,
The cutoff marks is the minimum marks you need to have to get admission in that college. To get admission in DU University, you need to secure a minimum cutoff marks which was announced by university.
For example: For Bhim Rao Ambedkar College you need to have atleast - 93.5% to get admission in that college. So everycollege has their own cutoff marks
