In India we have Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges, Deemed Universities and Central Universities. Deemed Universities are nothing but once upon a time Private Medical Colleges but have been given the "University" Status by Department of Higher Education. This is based on the Infrastructure, Faculty, Achievements, etc of the Institution in question. And all the seats of Deemed Universities are filled through All India Counselling. There are Muslim Minority Deemed Universities like Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences. The Muslim Quota in this College is filled also through All India Counselling. So if you want a seat in this College, you have to apply for All India Counselling and select Hamdard Medical College as one of your options during Choice locking. But with a score of 261, even with Muslim Minority reservation, a seat might be tad difficult. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
