what is meant by gender-neutral?? female only?? in opening and closing ranks of nit? who are eligible for gender-neutral?? is female only means womens quota??

Hello there,
Gender neutral means that the quota is applicable for all the genders whereas female only means the quota is applicable only for the female candidates. Female candidates can also apply for gender neutral quota since it is applicable for both. But females only quota is the reservation for girls. This is what gender neutral and females only mean in the opening and closing rank of the NITs.
