Doctor of Medicine in Emergency medicine is a three-year postgraduation course.
To be eligible for MD in emergency medicine you need to have completed MBBS from a MCI approved College. You also need to complete internship and qualify the neet Pg.
You can although opt for an Diploma in emergency medicine.Candidates who have completed MBBS, BDS, BPT, BNYS, B.Sc(Nursing), B.A.M.S., B.U.M.S., B.Sc(Emergency Care & Trauma Care & Technology) and B.H.M.S. are only eligible to study Diploma in Emergency Medicine.
Career opportunity in the not sector are also many.
Some job profiles that emphasise on the course of BPT are Assistant Physiotherapist, Therapy Manager, Sports Physio Rehabilitator, Osteopath, and others. The average salary package earned by the BPT course graduate ranges up to 5.5 lakh per annum which may increase with skills and experience of the individual.
