The cutoff rank may varies every year, im general you need to aim for a very good score in order to get admission in SPA. This year's college wise cutoffs aren't released yet but you can get an estimation about the rank required by going though previous year records, the closing rank of 2017 was 870 for general category and 264 for OBC. The rank varies between 100-900 every year.

Hope it helps.

Thank you.

Dear Prabhat,

The percentile system in JEE Mains has been included in 2019 so no earlier data is present for percentile system. For rank, it depends whether you are asking for Planning or Architecture and to which category you belong. Here is the last year cutoff to give you an idea of rank required for Planning-

Category           Opening Rank               Closing Rank

General              415                                1314

Schedule Caste   113                                 313

Schedule Tribe    81                                    231

General PwD       3                                      3

OBC Pwd            20                                   20

OBC                 340                                  653

Here is the last year cutoff to give you an idea of rank required for Architecture-

Category        Opening Rank               Closing Rank

General              183                              870

Schedule Caste   19                                 93

Schedule Tribe    12                                 63

OBC Pwd            7                                  7

OBC                 110                                 264

Hope this helps you.

It is quite difficult to predict the cuttoff since it depends on different factors such as difficulty level of JEE Main 2019 exam, number of candidates, number of seats available etc. But if we have a look at the previous years's cuttoff:
Cutoff for Architecture Engineering in SPA Delhi:The opening and closing ranks for different categories are as follows:
2018               2017
General:   7-486             2-523
OBC-NCL: 79-302          110-371
SC:          23-71            14-105
ST:           9-67              12-94

Cutoff for Planning Engineering:The opening and closing ranks for different categories are as follows:
2018                    2017

General:    555-1464         415-2052

OBC-NCL:   229-949         340-889

SC:            53-264           93-529

ST:            36-264           53-278

As you can see there is quite a lot of competition. To get an admission in Architecture Engineering you have to score a percentile higher than 96 or get an AIR less than 500.If you want to join Planning engineering a percentile of 90+ will be fine or an AIR of round 600 to 700.
