After graduating from NDA, candidates are sent to their respective training academies for one year of traing before commissioning.

National Defence Academy is located in Khadakwasla Pune, Maharashtra. This academy deals with cadetts of Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air force. They train all the 3 forces together before sending them for service. It is a pre- commission training. This is the only academy that have cadetts of all the three forces. It's a short training period that they spend their and then get posted to their main camps where training according to you field work starts.
