NPTEL is National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning. It has more than 235 courses from many specializations like civil engg, cse, ece etc where you'll be taught by professors of IITs, IISc and many professors from reputed institutes. The course contains variety of subjects from engineering, science and management too. While applying you need to enter some details like Name, Mail id, College Name, Course Name, Why are you choosing NPTEL etc. You'll be given weekly assignments which you have to submit within the deadline. You will given marks on the basis of your assignment. Courses are divided in three parts 4 weeks course, 8 weeks course and 12 weeks course. You can appear for the exam by paying the exam fee, usually INR 1100. Marks are calculated depending on your assignment result and final exam. 40 out of 100 will make you eligible for the certificate. If you're able to qualify you'll get laminated certificated delivered at your doorstep. http://swayam.gov.in/NPTEL
