NTA is National Testing Agency of India. It is an organization which will conduct the JEE Main, UGC NET, NEET, GPAT and CMAT examinations from 2019.
As per the recent news, National Testing Agency (NTA) will be the exam conducting body from the next session of UGC NET on the place of CBSE.
NTA will decide to conduct the NET exam in online mode from 2nd December to 16th December 2018 in two shifts per day on Saturday and Sunday.
The online application process will be started from 1st September 2018. It will be ended on 30th September 2018.
The syllabus for UGC NET Dec 2018, eligibility criteria and exam pattern are same as per the previous year.
For JRF, the maximum age limit is 30 years on the other hand for the assistant professor there is no upper age limit.
National Testing Agency commonly referred as NTA has been setup by Government of India for conducting national level entrance examinations for determining the eligibility and competency of candidates for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, medical, teachers, lecturers, etc. Yes, NTA will conduct UGC NET in December. The online application will begin from September 1 and computer based exam will be conducted in different slots between December 2 to 16, 2018.
