what is occupational therapy course
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course is a 4-5 year-long undergraduate course designed to produce efficient Physiotherapists that can help the physically or mentally challenged people enjoy their life without any hindrance. There are around 25 institutes in India that offer the course.
Currently, there is no national level council to regulate the profession of occupational therapy in India. However, efforts are underway to create a national level council. The All India Occupational Therapists Association offers voluntary registration with its Academic Council for interested OT practitioners in India. The State of Maharashtra and the Union Territory of Delhi legally require OT practitioners to register themselves with the respective councils.

Occupational therapy is also known as physical therapy. An occupational therapist is responsible for providing medical help or rehabiliation to individuals suffering from functional disabilities that prevent them from leading fully functional and healthy and independent life.
To become an occupational therapist , one have to complete bachelor in occupational therapist which is a four and a half year course with 6 months of internship.
Eligibility
One have to complete 10+2 with physics Chemistry and Biology.
