Hello Kanishka,

Anna university conducts counselling for admission into engineering colleges in TamilNadu every year. PCM marks will be considered and there will be cutoff marks set based on that for various colleges. The counselling will be separately held for students who reside in TamilNadu and for non-residents. Based on your cutoff mark, you will called for counselling where you can select your preferred course in your preferred college depending on the availabilty of seats. There is no such thing called closing mark and opening mark. The cutoff marks will only be considered and it varies for various course every year.

Hope this helps!
