Its a very interesting field having various career options. Firstly you have to decide where you want to make your career. What unique skills you are having. Choosing a right career option should be purely on the basis of our interest and passion to do something. So analyse yourself and then decide where you want to move yourself.


Mathematics degree graduates are respected for their excellent quantitative and problem- solving abilities and win a wide range of rewarding positions in the public and private sectors. There has been an increase in the number of students studying mathematics being employed in banking, finance, insurance and risk-management.


After the completion of our program, you may work in universities, scientific institutes, government or the private sector or go on to study advanced degrees. go on to research positions at universities


Common job profiles of students after completing Graduation in Mathematics include:


Statistician, Research Analyst, Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst and Finance Analyst. Numerical Analyst, Mathematician etc.

Without mathematics you can't make a good career. There are number of opportunities and scope after b.sc in maths .

  1. MSc in mathematics - MSc can be done from TIFR,IITs, IISC, IMSc,CMI,ISI,BHU,DU, Central University Hyderabad, Kolkata University,NITs, Pune University. These are few best universities where one can explore his knowledge and career in mathematics. After MSc one can do NET,JRF, PhD and go in research or academic field.
  2. MCA- For mathematics graduate who wants to make carrier in IT world MCA can be attractive .
  3. MBA- MBA is good option who wants to make carrier in business and administration world.
  4. Government Jobs- There are number of opportunities just after BSc in central or state government.
    1. UPSC- CDS, Civil Services, IFS
    2. DRDO- SCIENTIST B/ STA 'B'
    3. TGT/PGT
    4. BANK PO/ ASSISTANT
    5. SSC/ RAILWAY/TAX ASSISTANT
