Hi Siddharth,

Para Medical Courses are usually related to allied health care sector and these courses are just as useful and important and job oriented as the courses of MBBS, BDS or Nursing. These courses trains the students into skilled allied health care workers and technicians and as i said they play a pivotal role in the health care industry for its smoother and efficient functioning.

There are 3 main types of Paramedical degree courses which a student can pursue after completion of Class 12 are -

1. Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree courses

2. Diploma Courses

3. Certificate courses

and the various type of Paramedical course subjects include :

-Bachelor of Physiotherapy

-Bachelor of Occupational therapy

-B.Sc in OTT ( Operation Theatre Technology)

-B.Sc in Dialysis Technology

-B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology (MLT)

-B.Sc in Xray Technology

-B.Sc in Radiography

-B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology

-B.Sc in Medical Record Technology

-B.Sc in Ophthalmic Technology

-B.Sc in Audiology and Speech Therapy

-B.Sc in Optometry

-B.Sc in Anaesthesia Technology

These courses mentioned above are usually 3years long. some also constitute of 3+1 year.

there are similar Diploma and Certificate course. However it will be helpful if a person has Biology in Class 11 and 12.

hello,

paramedicals are releted to  services and professions which  support medical work  but without be a qualified doctor.some paramedical fields are  nursing, radiography, emergency first aid, physiotherapy, and dietetics

Hey Siddharth,

Para medical are the courses which deals with the pre hospital emergency service and a person working in this field known as paramedic. The major areas of work in the field of paramedical sciences are spinal injury management, fracture management, obstetrics, management of burns and assessment, and evaluation of general accident scene.

Here are lots of scope for para medical which can be listed as below:

* Physiotherapist (BPT)

* Occupational Therapy (BOT)

* Speech Therapy (B.Sc in Audiology)

* Homyopathy (BHMS)

Let me tell you that paramedical courses are the courses which supports medical. Para medical courses concerned with supplementing the work of highly trained medical professionals for eg Nursing,MLT, Physiotherapy,DPharmacy etc.

All these paramedical courses have a vast scope.These are the roots of medical system.

By taking admission in paramedical courses you can join hospitals,you can go to medical side,you can become researcher, lecturer etc
