what is perfusionist?? how do I become a perfusionist ?? what all government jobs are there in perfusionist field??

It is great to know, that you are interested in perfusionist.perfusionist basically means a healthcare professional who operates the cardiopulmonary bypass machine (heartlung machine) during cardiac surgery and other surgeries that require cardiopulmonary bypass to manage the patient's physiological status.A perfusionist can't be counted as a doctor .They may be considered as Nurse or medical technician.
To become perfusionist you need to complete B.sc
In Cardiac perfusion which is 3 year undergraduate program.For getting admission in this course one should have 50-55% aggregate marks in intermediate with PCB as their main subjects. There are many colleges in India who offers this course .some of them are as below
1.Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research(NEW DELHI) -Fee approx(80,000)
2.SRM University Kattankulathur (KANCHIPURAM)- Fee approx(50,000).
3.JIPMER(Puducherry)- Fee approx (76,000)
