Pharm D or Doctor of Pharmacy is a professional doctorate in pharmacy.Pharm.D program has significant experiential or clinical education components in introductory and advanced levels for the safe and effective use of drugs directly to patients. A Pharm D graduate in entitled to prefix their name with Dr.
- Pharm D stands for Doctor of Pharmacy and B Pharmacy stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy.Pharm D is post graduate doctorate program whereas B Pharm is an undergraduate program.
- The course duration of pharm D is 6 year and 1 year for internship. On the other hand B pharm course duration in 4 years. There is no internship.
- Pharm D graduates gets title of Dr. , in case of B pharm the candidates get bachelor's degree in B pharm.

Pharma D is a course basically for clinical, hospital, and pharmacy shops oriented. You can study in less time and open a pharmacy, work in clinics etc. But in B. Pharm you have to study deep for 4 years and you will have good aspect of pharamcy and research oriented. So I will say b. Pharma is much better and good option than Pharma D. If you want to open phramacy or work soon then choose pharma D.
