Hii rajni,
Polynomial and degree of polynomial both are different things let me know you bout both
Polynomial is an expression of more than two algebric terms, especially the sum of several terms that contain different powers of the same variable
Degree of polynomial is the highest degree of the polynomial's monomials with non- zero coefficient .the degree of a term is the sum of the exponent of the variables that appear in it, and thus  is a non-negative integer
It might helped you!

Hello Rajni,

The degree of a polynomial is the highest degree in a polynomial expression.

To recall, a polynomial is defined as an expression of more than two algebraic terms, especially the sum of several terms that contain different powers of the same variables.

It is a linear combination of monomials.

For Example: 6x4 + 2x3+ 3

Types of Polynomials Based on its Degree

1. Degree 0 - Constant Polynomial

2. Degree 1 -  Linear Polynomial

3. Degree 2 -  Quadratic Polynomial

4. Degree 3 -  Cubic Polynomial

5. Degree 4 -  Quartic Polynomials

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU

GOOD LUCK
