The process for joining any undergraduate course is same. So you want to pursue your B. Tech in Mining Engineering. The process is very simple.

So there are always 2 things you need to do.

First of all you need to decide in which engineering college you want to get admission into.

Secondlly the college which you apply for will stipulate some minimum percentage in 12 std as a eligibility criteria.

Third you will have to answer entrance test, counselling and seat allotment will be done on the basis of marks obtained in your entrance test.

For eg

If you wish to get into IIT you will have answer JEE Advanced and in 12 std you need a minimum 75 %.

The same procedure applies for NIT except you answer JEE Main as entrance test .

If you want to get into private univrsity, they conduct there own entrance test and there eligibility criteria score is less. Manipal Institiute of Technology, conducts Manipal Entrance Test and 55 % is the minimum score required.

Dear Rashid, there are around 145 Marine Enginnering colleges in India. Some of them need you to appear for State Level Entrance Examination while few colleges require you to appear for JEE Mains. Eitherways for being eligible to study B.Tech in Marine Engineering, you should have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate if 50% with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. The minimum aggregate may change from Institution to Institution.
