Admission in all the medical colleges for MBBS is through Neet examination only , be it Jharkhand or any other state.

Here's how you can get admission in MBBS in Jharkhand:-

*Appear in Neet examination

• To be eligible for neet 2021 one must be either appearing for  12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category. *Qualify neet examination. Qualifying cut off in neet is given below

• General :- 50th Percentile

• OBC:-  40th Percentile

• SC :-40th Percentile

• ST :-  40th percentile

To be on the safer side, out of 720 marks, target at least around 580 -600 marks for state quota seats and 650 marks in neet for All india quota seats if you belong to general category.

*Participate in neet counselling. There are 2 counsellings -

• 15% all india counselling :- If you not domicile of jharkhand then you can get a seat through  15% all india quota in jharkhand

• 85 % state quota :- you are eligible only if you domicile of jharkhand

*In the counselling, you can get a seat in a college on the basis of your rank in NEET examination and the category you belong to .

*Then you have to report to the college and get your documents verified.

* After document verification, finally you get admission in the college.
