What is Product Marketing and why is important?

Let me explain you in simple terms instead of google or any textbook definitions.
Suppose you have a new product which is of unique and has no competitors who have made it before. Product might be anything which can be used on daily basis or household. You will now want to sell you product to your friends and neighbours, There you will explain how the product works. This is the part of product marketing. Where, you are explaining the product to people how it will be useful to them on daily basis. Product marketing comprises four parts
- You should have a PRODUCT
- MARKETING Techniques
- SALES of Product
- CUSTOMER Feedback.
This is the simple definition of Product marketing. Product Marketing is very much Important for startup companies or existing companies launching a new products. Product Marketer is also main responsible for the company for three things. First deciding the product when to launch. Second is, making sure of users either (B2C) Customers and Salesperson (B2B) understand its value. Third is, how to increase the demand and usage of product.

Product Management is related to the marketing of products to customers and others.
It is mainly focused on marketing a product which is newly launched in the market. Its key points focus on product type, customer needs, customer type, and geographical area. The product marketing manager has roles such as market strategy expert, marketing expert, marketing program guidance, and supporting sales. The product marketing manager demonstrates success in positioning and launching new products which meet and exceeds businesss objective, deep understanding of how a product is sold and the channels to which they are sold into, they also represent the company at all times and with virtually any audience to explain the benefits of the product line.
Product managers possess bachelor-level degrees in the industry and some also have MBA or other business training.
