Biotechnology has restricted scope across industries into FMCG and Pharmaceutical majorly.
However, opportunities are very good and fetch very good salaries as supply for Quality engineers are less .
Major job roles on platter are combination of Genetics, Bio Chemistry and Microbiology.
Job description is inclined towards GM Crop and Fertilizer management, Research Clinical Scientist, Data Biotech Engineer, etc.
Average salary as per trends is into 3.5-5LPA. and for top students the range is higher on 6-9LPA.
