So, the eligibility criteria are also different for all the exam. Staff Selection Commission conduct 10th, 12th, graduation and post-graduation level exam. SSC CGL Eligibility – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. And the age limit is 18-32 years.

SSC CHSL Eligibility - In order to appear for SSC CHSL Exam, you must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Some other important points - If you possess any Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode, then that must be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU.

The age limit of SSC CHSL Exam is 18-27 years.

SSC is one of the most popular exams after UPSC for the recruitment of gazetted and non-gazetted government officials. The eligibility for different posts are separate. However, the  overall eligibility criteria that stands true for all posts are as follows:
