Hello. So here is the summary of the story the necklace of class 10

Matilda is a middle class lady who is pretty and charming and also who always dreamt to have a rich and luxurious life. She always used to dream about that. Sine the family financial status is not that high her parents got her married to a clerk. Even then she used to dream about rich and luxurious life. One day her husband has got an invitation from his boss inviting both of them to party organized by the boss. But she was not happy to go there as she doesn't have proper dress and jewels. Her husband gave money to buy the dress. She bought the dress and still unhappy because she has no jewels go wear. Since they don't have enough money, her husband suggested her to borrow necklace from her friend forestier.

She was all happy and went to party. They enjoyed the party and came back. When they came back and she looked herself in the mirror she found the necklace missing and got horrified. Her husband searched every where, published in newspaper.. yet no use. No other way to go, she took loan of huge amount and bought the necklace and gave it to her friend, due to which they lost their house, went into debts, lost all comfortable life. It took almost 10 years for them to repay the loan. When Matilda was walking,  she has seen her friend and decide to tell everything. Then she got to know that the necklace is actually a duplicate one, as in not up the real diamond necklace which left Matilda in shock.

So the moral of the story is be contented with what you have
